The NIWHA Spring Championships for horses was held at Knockagh View on 26^th April, with classes 1-8 running the working hunter championship classes where horses had competed in the winter league to qualify.  The hotly contested finals were well supported with the eventual Baileys Working hunter champion of the year going to the versatile grey Welcome Ralph with the 4 year old Rockrimmon Buddy in reserve.  Ridden Champion and overall Supreme horse champion went to another grey, Cairnside Debonair with Welcome Ralph in reserve.  It was indeed a day for greys as Tamarlane Ice was crowned champion in the afternoon working hunter classes which did not require qualification, with the grey irish draught stallion Rockrimmon Glenside Monarch in reserve.  NIWHA committee would like to thank all those who helped on the day as well as the many sponsors including, Baileys, allbed equine bedding, the Tack Shop, and Doagh Farm Feeds.
